Learning Arabic

Here’s a great video on reading and writing Arabic letters that I discovered. What I like about it is it identifies patterns of pronunciation based on marks that embellish a given letter. It also talks about typing and writing by hand (demonstrated by the “drawing” function in Microsoft Word. A student helps model the pronunciation exercises. According to some sources I have read it only takes 30 minutes to learn Arabic alphabet. However, the way the letters look changes based on context.

About Christian Minus Christianity

“I do think it’s important to dismantle imperial Christianity in a form, and for the reign of God to liberate the oppressed and God’s entire creation from systems of supremacy, exploitation, and destruction. I also believe that every theologian and Christian are doing theology from their own context, wherever they are. All theologies are contextual.”
