Reading about Marcuse

Racial capitalism isn’t a theory but a reality that is rooted in Christianity in the United States. I’m currently reading Christopher Rufo’s America’s Cultural Revolution: How the Radical Left Conquered Everything. He treats Marcuse as a straw man for critiquing the critical theory movements that have grown out of the New Left from the middle of the 20th century, without acknowledging that these theorists were German Jews responding to the fascism of the Nazi Holocaust. Racial capitalism impacts the entire globe because of the power of the US in the world. Combatting it is not inherently socialist or communist.

About Christian Minus Christianity

“I do think it’s important to dismantle imperial Christianity in a form, and for the reign of God to liberate the oppressed and God’s entire creation from systems of supremacy, exploitation, and destruction. I also believe that every theologian and Christian are doing theology from their own context, wherever they are. All theologies are contextual.”
