Hub

Rethink faith in community.

The Christian Minus Christianity Hub is for Western Christians confronting Zionism, religious harm, and the distance between the faith they inherited and the liberating faith they are seeking.

Everyone is welcome here, with particular care for queer, neurodiverse, and otherly-abled people, and those leaving controlling religious environments.

Come with questions. Listen to Palestinian voices. Make room for truth, justice, and liberation.

Monthly processing groups grounded in honest conversation.

Each facilitated online group can make room to examine what we were taught about Palestine, name the harm caused by Zionism and controlling religion, and imagine what a more liberating faith could become.

No one needs to arrive at a group with a finished position or a perfect faith. These groups begin by listening carefully to one another and to Palestinians whose lives and theology are too often pushed aside.

Bring questions
Uncertainty is welcome here.
Listen across difference
Honesty and care remain in the room together.

From this shared table, the Hub can grow into Palestinian-led classes, speakers, leader gatherings, writing, and practical action.

A community for people finding their way through.

The Hub begins with Western Christians whose faith has been disrupted by Zionism, exclusion, spiritual abuse, or controlling religious environments.

  • Christians rethinking what they were taught about Palestine
  • Queer Christians seeking community without being treated as a problem
  • People leaving cult-like or controlling religious environments
  • People reconsidering their relationship with Christianity and Christ

You do not have to choose between asking difficult questions and belonging somewhere.

What can grow here

  • Facilitated conversations
  • Palestinian-led classes
  • Speakers and leader gatherings
  • Writings and selected Action Network updates

The book

Christians for a Free Palestine

Erin Grimm invites readers to listen more closely to Palestinian stories and consider how Christian faith can respond to occupation, war, and genocide with empathy, justice, and action.

Read the book

“A unique book important not only for Christians but for anyone who cares about social justice, liberation, and for a free Palestine. Erin Grimm’s focus on human flourishing and healing in the context of Israeli settler colonialism, occupation and an ongoing trauma is an important approach to understand the human story within the unfolding genocide in Gaza today.”

Rev. Prof. Mitri Raheb, president of Dar al-Kalima and author of Decolonizing Palestine and Faith in the Face of Empire

“Erin Grimm’s newest book builds on her ongoing literary theme of helping people to find shalom (godly peace and human flourishing) in the midst of deep trauma—whether personal or societal, or some combination of both. In this book in particular, she calls our attention to the horrors experienced by Palestinians, not only in the immediate context of the war in Gaza, but also during decades of Israeli occupation. And she does so without ignoring the very real concerns of antisemitism that Jewish people face. Such a balanced plea for justice in our world—and more specifically in the Middle East—is a necessary corrective to the polarizing rhetoric of many other accounts. Thanks be to God for Grimm’s focus on the well-being of others. May we listen and then act accordingly.”
